Wellness Tool #34: Cleaning
Though I would say I have a love-hate relationship with cleaning, the truth is when I’m stressed or bored, I’ll start picking up. By mindfully engaging with cleaning, smelling the dish soap as I wash the dishes, or feel the warmth from the laundry, allows me to re-center myself. Not only that but it provides a sense of accomplishment when I light a candle and I look around my apartment and everything is squeaky clean.
