“I give myself permission to suck. I find this hugely liberating.” –John Green

This Recovery Talk is one I’m finding harder to write than most. The last few years of writing these posts have carried me through some of the deepest and darkest moments. It has given me a place to share my pain, pull hope out of darkness, and show courage when I felt like I had none. Now though I find myself running out of focus, inspiration and experience to draw from in my writings. My word for this year was THRIVE and I’ll be honest, I’m not living up to that word at all. So, it’s time for me to step past all my comfort zones and jump head first into thriving in all areas of my life. My hope, prayer and goal is that a season of thriving will flood me with everything I want and need to continue to spread hope, courage and life through Recovery Talks. So, until later… thank you all for this journey. You have been my rock.
