“Peace is a result of re-training your mind to process life as it is rather than as you think it should be.” –Dr. Wayne W. Dyer
It can be really hard to see what IS when so much is happening around us, so many different stories and so much fear in the air. It’s easy to get caught up in how we think things should be working, how people should be responding and what would make everything better. All of the “what if’s” and “if only’s” fill us with a sense of frustration, anger, fear, maybe emptiness or disquiet. It is possible though to change this pattern and build a sense of peace within. We can pause and respond to the external stimuli rather than just react. When the “what if’s” happen we challenge them with statements of “what IS”. Once the truth, the reality, the “IS” can be clearly seen then the peace enters like a flood.
