“Life doesn’t get easier or more forgiving, we get stronger and more resilient.” ―Steve Maraboli

We are winding down Recovery Month and focusing on Resilience in Recovery has been instrumental for me. I fervently hope this month has made even the smallest of impacts in your world. I’ve shared much of what I’m facing in life right now and what I’ve worked through in the past but have heard little of your personal experiences. What I love about both resilience and recovery is that no matter who you are, where you’ve been or what you’ve experienced… you are recovering and your resilience grows daily.

Steve Maraboli doesn’t beat around the bush here and reminds us very simply that life hurts and always will but the light at the end of the tunnel will always be there.

Always.

No matter what you’ve come through up to this point, even when you felt the world should/would end, you are stronger. You are more resilient. You are braver and more courageous than yesterday. This also means that tomorrow you will have grown even more and be capable of handling whatever comes next. Fight through the hard times, love and carry others through your good times and remember you are never, ever alone.
