"Some days you will be the light for others and some days you will need some light from them. As long as there is light there is hope and there is a way." —Jennifer Gayle

A lot of things can feel far away and impossible to grasp when life has us on the tilt-a-whirl. Things like hope can be hard to find. This is true even in the days when the darkness isn’t creeping in but there isn’t joy in abundance.

Most of us live our lives in a consistent pattern of contentment which is beautiful but is that what we are meant to experience? Would pain exist if we weren’t intended to live in joy? Look back through your life, pain and joy circle each other just like darkness and light.

Some days your joy will be what others need to make it through their darkness. You will be a beacon of hope in a stormy sea. Other days you will be the ship sailing in the hurricane when another’s lighthouse guides you back to hope and life. Light and hope means there is a way through whatever we are stuck in.

Use the light. Share the light. Seek the light.
