Very real Recovery Talk ahead everyone, this is your Public Service Announcement.

I need this Jimmy Stewart quote to be real. I need it because I’m sinking in the mire of today and no matter where I reach I can’t find what I need. I’ve been struggling to write for weeks now. Months. Years actually. But I’ve been faking my way through it. But now I just am struggling to be the hope, the light, the encouragement. The silver lining seems to be hiding from me and no matter who I talk to, they don’t have the answers I need. Then I saw this quote from Jimmy and it reminded me that I don’t have to be perfect, I don’t have to be ok and I don’t have to be anything or have anyone else be something for me. I’m growing, I’m struggling and fighting but I’m moving forward. That is my hope for right now. Someday I will be the hero I feel I need right now and that’s enough for me.
